Dragon Fangs — Old-School ASCII RPG in Your Chrome Browser
Dragon Fangs is a turn-based RPG built as a Chrome extension. No launcher, no install wizard — just open a new tab and you're staring down a pack of jackals. Pick your character, choose your path through a dungeon that rolls the dice against you at every turn and find out how far you get before your first bad decision kills you.

Pick Your Fighter, Learn the Hard Way
Dragon Fangs gives you several characters to choose from, each with a different stat spread and playstyle. Your choice shapes every fight from the first encounter to the final boss. There's no "best" pick — just the one that matches how you want to lose the first few runs.
Turn-Based Combat That Punishes Guessing
Every fight in Dragon Fangs is a turn-based decision: Physical Attack, Skills, Magic, or Escape. Enemies scale across multiple zones, and what worked against jackals in the first area won't save you deeper in the dungeon. One wrong skill choice and you're back at the main menu.

Every Path Is a Gamble
Between fights you don't just walk to the next enemy — you choose a route. Each path hides a random event: a trap, a riddle, or an ambush. You roll the dice and live with the result. Land well and you walk away with a bonus. Land badly and you enter the next fight with debuff. No two runs feel the same because the dungeon doesn't care about your plan.

Crafting With Side Effects
Recipes drop from enemies. Materials drop from enemies. The gear you craft from those materials will probably help you — and definitely cost you something. High-damage weapons that drain health per turn. Heavy armor that nerfs your magic output. Dragon Fangs doesn't hand you power, it trades it.
Inventory, Levels, and a Boss That's Actually the Goal
Between fights you manage your inventory, equip crafted gear, and level up your character's stats. The game has a direction: a final boss waiting at the end of the dungeon. Getting there requires surviving multiple zones, each with their own enemy types and difficulty spike. The save system keeps your progress between sessions — localStorage, no servers, nothing leaves your browser.
Why a Browser Extension?
Because the best RPG session is the one you can start in 30 seconds during a break. Dragon Fangs runs entirely inside Chrome — no tab switching to a separate site, no loading screens. It's there when you open the browser and gone when you close it.
